Product designer eager to apply my diverse and transferable skills in a creative and innovative environment.

I grew up in Brazil surrounded by diverse artistic and cultural manifestations, I was taught from a very early age that empathy is the most solemn quality a person can cultivate. Therefore, I have always tried to become professionally involved with human beings and their peculiarities and emotions.

A short introduction about me

From Caring for People to Creating Experiences: My Journey into Product Design

My experience of working as a nanny was also formative for me in terms of learning empathy, creativity, and problem-solving; skills I now use all the time in my product design work. It takes more than patience to care for children; like John Lee Hooker, you have to see and understand the unstated need before you can find a solution. It’s no different in design: listening to your users, finding their pain points, and creating experiences that really matter.

My experience has taught me that design is fundamentally about people. When helping a child learn a new trick, or designing an accessible user journey, I have always looked to make the experience simpler, intuitive, so that the user can simply enjoy themselves.

Now I utilize these skills to deliver functional, user-oriented product design. I think my portfolio tells a story of this change; how real-world experiences can be translated into meaningful digital experiences.
